About

Jennifer Diamond, PhD is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Northwestern University in 1997, where she was trained in Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioral therapies with adults and adolescents. Her post-graduate training includes EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Ego State, and Gottman therapies, and she is also a trained divorce mediator. Additionally, she draws upon over a decade of experience teaching yoga and meditation, allowing her to incorporate mindfulness, meditation, and breathing techniques as therapeutic tools.

Jennifer works with people who have a history of trauma and family of origin wounds, those navigating divorce and post-divorce relationships, and individuals experiencing anxiety or depression connected to life events and transitions. She also provides parent coaching for mothers and fathers raising children from infancy through young adulthood across all types of family configurations, as well as support for other familial relationships such as siblings or adult children and their parents.

Her approach is compassionate and curious, helping clients identify the wisdom and skills they already possess while working to release thoughts, memories, and patterns that make life harder. She believes that symptoms and difficult behaviors often serve a purpose and works collaboratively with clients to understand and address their root causes rather than simply eliminating them. Jennifer is PSYPACT-approved, enabling her to offer telehealth services across 42 or more states.
