Desne Doman

Desne Doman is a Senior Clinical Psychologist and EMDRAA Accredited Practitioner based in Crows Nest, Sydney. She holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, awarded with the Dean's Merit Award, a Bachelor's degree with Honours in Psychology, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Sydney, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Technology from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa. Doman is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia, endorsed as a Clinical Supervisor by AHPRA, and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and the International Association of Trauma Professionals. With over nine years of clinical experience, she specializes in EMDR therapy using both 1.0 and 2.0 protocols for the treatment of trauma, PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and anger. Her therapeutic repertoire also includes Deep Brain Reorienting, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Schema-focused Cognitive Therapy. Doman describes her clinical style as down-to-earth and non-judgmental, informed by a long-standing personal mindfulness practice.
