Ayan Mukherjee

Ayan Mukherjee is a Registered Psychotherapist and Certified EMDR Therapist and Consultant specializing in EMDR Therapy, anxiety, PTSD, childhood trauma, Complex PTSD, and Spiritual Psychotherapy. He has been utilizing EMDR Therapy since 2016 and earned the designation of EMDRIA-Approved EMDR Consultant, allowing him to train and supervise EMDR therapists. Prior to EMDR training, he graduated with a degree in Spiritual Psychotherapy from the Transformational Arts College, Toronto, in early 2016. He has also trained in Internal Family Systems, Ego States Therapy, Somatic Psychotherapy, and Deep Brain Reorienting. He transitioned to psychotherapy from a 9-year career in commercial banking. He has an East Indian background, speaks Hindi and Bengali, grew up in India, lived in the Middle East, and moved to Toronto in late 2010. He is also a mental health illustrator and owner of the Etsy store Therapy Illustrated, having published 3 visual aids flipbooks on EMDR Therapy, General Trauma Therapy, and Attachment Trauma & Dissociation.
