Robert F. Slattery is a board-eligible psychiatrist in private practice in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he has practiced psychotherapy and psychiatry for over thirty years with a special interest in Jungian psychotherapy. He is a graduate of Yale College (1974) and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine (1984), and completed his post-graduate residency at the Detroit Psychiatric Institute.

Dr. Slattery describes himself as a long-time student of the work of Carl Jung, and his practice reflects the Jungian emphasis on finding personal meaning through the integration of conscious and unconscious awareness. He works with individuals from diverse socio-economic backgrounds and ethnicities who face serious life challenges, as well as those simply looking to live more fully. His services include psychotherapy, psychiatric diagnosis, and medication management, making him one of the few Jungian-oriented practitioners in the Detroit-Ann Arbor area who can offer both talk therapy and pharmacological support.

Beyond his clinical work, Slattery is a member of Michigan Friends of Jung and the Neuroscience Education Institute. He is also a documentary filmmaker, writer, and artist.
