Olivier Cametz is a clinical psychologist and Jungian psychoanalyst practicing in Paris. He is a member of both the Societe Francaise de Psychologie Analytique and the International Association for Analytical Psychology. He received his psychoanalytic training at the Institut C.G. Jung France (SFPA) in Paris, where he has also served as a teacher.
Cametz has devoted much of his career to working with children, adolescents, and young adults in institutional settings, including psychiatric hospitals, medical-psychological centers, and in collaboration with Aide Sociale a l'Enfance (Child Welfare Services). This extensive institutional experience informs his private practice, where he continues to see patients across age groups with a particular focus on the developmental challenges of adolescence and young adulthood.
He is a prolific contributor to the Cahiers jungiens de psychanalyse, the principal French-language journal of Jungian thought, where he has published articles including "De la difficulte a devenir: Approche jungienne du negatif dans le transfert" and "Enjeux subtils des premiers entretiens avec l'adolescent." He has also served in editorial roles for several issues of the Cahiers, including responsibility for the Bloc-Notes review section.
