Nancy Swift Furlotti is a Jungian analyst, author, and cultural philanthropist based in Aspen, Colorado. She received her doctorate in psychology from Saybrook University and trained as a Jungian analyst at both the Research and Training Centre for Depth Psychology According to C.G. Jung and Marie-Louise von Franz in Zurich, Switzerland, and the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles, where she later served as president. Her dissertation, A Jungian Psychological Amplification of the Popol Vuh, reflects her longstanding scholarly focus on Mesoamerican mythology and the dark emanations of the psyche.

Furlotti is a founding member and past president of the Philemon Foundation, the organization responsible for supporting the publication of Jung's Red Book and other foundational texts in analytical psychology. Through her company Recollections LLC, she has championed the publication of previously unpublished first-generation Jungian writings, including Erich Neumann's manuscripts and Emma Jung's writings and drawings. She has established endowments at UCLA's Semel Institute and Oxford University focusing on trauma research.

Her publications include The Dream and Its Amplification, co-edited with Erel Shalit; The Human Soul (Lost) in Transition at the Dawn of a New Era; Eternal Echoes: Erich Neumann's Timeless Relevance to Consciousness, Creativity, and Evil; and The Splendor of the Maya: A Journey into the Shadows at the Dawn of Creation, published as part of the Fay Lecture Series. She is a member of the C.G. Jung Institute of Colorado and the Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts, and serves on the boards of Pacifica Graduate Institute, the Smithsonian National Asian Museum, and the Aspen Music Festival and School. She lectures internationally on dreams, mythology, consciousness, the feminine, and psychedelics.
