Mihaela Minulescu is a foundational figure in Romanian analytical psychology — a full professor, prolific author, and the president of the Romanian Association of Analytical Psychology (ARPA), which she co-founded in December 2000 alongside Petru Lisievici and Carmen Popescu. She holds IAAP membership and has dedicated decades to establishing Jungian training infrastructure in Romania, effectively shaping the profession in her country.

Minulescu serves as Professor of Psychology at the National School of Political Science and Public Administration (SNSPA) in Bucharest, where she teaches clinical psychology and conducts research into the structure and dynamics of the human psyche. Her scholarly output is extensive: she has authored foundational Romanian-language textbooks including 'Introducere în analiza jungiană' (Introduction to Jungian Analysis), 'Bazele psihodiagnosticului' (Foundations of Psychodiagnosis), 'Tehnici Proiective' (Projective Techniques), and multiple volumes on personality assessment and psychological evaluation. Her research spans psychodiagnosis, personality questionnaires, projective techniques, and the interplay between the feminine and masculine in collective and individual consciousness.

As ARPA president, Minulescu has overseen the growth of analytical psychology training in Romania, with the association now listing over ninety psychotherapists in its directory. Her dual role as senior academic and clinical practitioner positions her as one of the most influential Jungian voices in southeastern Europe.
