Laura Soble, MA, LMFT, REAT, CST-T, is a dual-certified Jungian Adult and Child Analyst affiliated with the C.G. Jung Institute of San Francisco (CGJISF) and the Interregional Society of Jungian Analysts (IRSJA). She is also a certified clinical teaching member of the International Society for Sandplay Therapy/Sandplay Therapists of America (STA/ISST), a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist, a founding member of the Northern California Regional Sandplay Society, and serves as Associate Editor of Jung Journal and Assistant Editor of Journal of Sandplay Therapy.

Since 1987, Laura has worked in and studied the field of psychology, with a focus on Jungian Depth Psychotherapy. Her advanced study and professional work as a theatre artist and musician led her to ongoing training and certifications incorporating expressive arts and sandplay into her therapeutic work. She is attuned to symbols, images, and dreams as important elements of the therapy process, and presents nationally and internationally on topics related to Jungian psychotherapy, sandplay, and integration of the arts in therapy. Her articles have been published in book chapters and professional journals.

Laura works with patients at all stages of the life cycle, including children, adolescents, and adults. She specializes in helping individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, grief, interpersonal difficulties, creative blocks, and the search for meaning. Midlife depth work is a particular focus. She sees patients in her San Anselmo, California office and online, with children seen in person only. She also provides consultation to psychotherapists and other allied professionals.
