Gustavo Orlandeli Marques is a clinical psychologist and Jungian analyst affiliated with the Sociedade Brasileira de Psicologia Analítica and the International Association of Analytical Psychology. He holds a degree in psychology from the Universidade do Sagrado Coração and a master's degree in clinical psychology with a focus on Jungian studies from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo.
His current main field of research is alchemy in relation to Jungian thinking. His academic work has examined the genesis of symbolic function in Jung's work and the evolution of symbolic processes throughout human development, and he has presented at international Jungian conferences on imagination, myth, society, and related themes.
