Elizabeth Colistra, Ph.D. is a Certified Jungian Analyst, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Licensed Psychoanalyst practicing in the French Quarter of New Orleans. She trained at the C. G. Jung Institute of New York and The Jungian Psychoanalytic Association, and received her doctorate from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Depth Psychotherapy after completing her master's in Counseling Psychology.
She has worked extensively with a variety of adults (18 and older) across a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, feelings of isolation, career issues, relationship problems, changes in life direction, issues specific to LGBTQQI individuals, and crises of meaning and spirituality concerns. She specializes in women's issues and women's psychology.
As a teaching faculty member and supervising analyst with the New Orleans Jungian Seminar, Elizabeth brings both clinical depth and scholarly rigor to her practice. Sessions are typically held one or more times per week depending on the individual's situation and preference, reflecting her commitment to the consistency and depth that analysis and psychotherapy require.
