Cynthia Pereira Lira is a psychologist and Jungian analyst based in the Leblon neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She holds a master's degree in Psychosociology of Community and Social Ecology from EICOS/IP/UFRJ and is a member and teaching analyst of the Instituto Junguiano do Rio de Janeiro (IJRJ), which is affiliated with the Associação Junguiana do Brasil (AJB) and the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP). She also serves as Director of Teaching at the Sociedade Brasileira de Psicologia Analítica (SBPA) in Rio de Janeiro.
Lira's work bridges analytical psychology and community-oriented psychosocial engagement, informed by her academic grounding in the social ecology of communities. Her position as Director of Teaching within the SBPA-RJ and her role on the faculty of the Instituto Junguiano do Rio de Janeiro reflect a sustained commitment to training the next generation of Jungian analysts in Brazil.
