Chiara Rovera is a physician, psychiatrist, psychotherapist, and Jungian analyst practicing in Milan. She graduated in medicine from the University of Milan in 2008 and completed her specialization in psychiatry at the same institution in 2014 with honors, producing a thesis on cognitive remediation in patients with major psychosis prepared at Manhattan Psychiatric Center in New York. She has been a member of CIPA (Centro Italiano di Psicologia Analitica) since 2023 and is registered with the International Association for Analytical Psychology.
Rovera has worked as a hospital physician at Fondazione IRCCS Ca' Granda Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico in Milan's Department of Mental Health since 2014, gaining extensive clinical experience in the integrated management of anxiety disorders, unipolar and bipolar depressive disorders, and both affective and non-affective psychosis, with particular attention to early-onset presentations. She also completed specialized training in EMDR for integrated trauma treatment in 2015.
Her scholarly output includes numerous national and international publications in clinical psychopharmacology. In private practice, she provides psychopharmacological treatment, psychodiagnostic evaluation, integrated therapeutic projects, medico-legal consultation, and psychotherapy informed by the Jungian analytic tradition. Her combined expertise in biological psychiatry and analytical psychology positions her as a practitioner capable of integrating psychopharmacological and depth-psychological approaches.
