Adelaide de Faria Pimenta is a Jungian analyst, psychotherapist, and vocational counselor based in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. She holds a degree in psychology from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (PUC-Minas), a specialist certification in Jungian Analytical Psychology from PUC-Minas, and post-graduate training in Active Imagination from the ICHTHYS Institute in Curitiba. She earned her master's degree in Religious Sciences from PUC-Minas as a CAPES scholarship recipient and defended her doctoral thesis on the topic of immortality and techno-digital paradise, exploring intersections between Judeo-Christian millennialism and transhumanism.

Pimenta is a didactic (training) Jungian analyst certified by the Instituto C.G. Jung de Minas Gerais (ICGJMG), affiliated with the Brazilian Jungian Association (AJB) and the IAAP (member number 7209). She served as president and administrative director of ICGJMG from 2020 to 2023 and as financial director of the AJB from 2020 to 2022, reflecting her deep institutional commitment to analytical psychology in Brazil. She currently teaches in the ICGJMG Analyst Training Program and in postgraduate programs in analytical psychology.

Her scholarly contributions focus on active imagination and the religious dimensions of the psyche.
