Logoi Psychēs
The Soul's Survival Grammars
When the feeling function is underdeveloped — when the soul's capacity for valuation has been wounded by early experience or cultural inheritance — the psyche compensates. It develops patterned logics: survival grammars that substitute for genuine feeling. These are the logoi psychēs.
This assessment measures four such logics. Each one distorts feeling in a different direction. None is pathological — they are adaptations, not diagnoses. But recognizing which logic dominates your emotional life is the first step toward recovering the feeling function they replace.
For each statement, select the number that best matches your experience.
1 = Never · 2 = Rarely · 3 = Sometimes · 4 = Often · 5 = Always

How to Read Your Scores
- 30 – 50: Strong tendency — a default pattern. This is the grammar your psyche reaches for first.
- 20 – 29: Moderate tendency — shows up in certain situations or relationships.
- 10 – 19: Weak tendency — less familiar, often avoided or projected onto others.
Most people have one or two dominant logoi and one that barely registers. The low score is often just as revealing — it points toward the feeling territory you've abandoned, the grammar you can't conjugate. That's where the work begins.
