μοι Πηλέος υἱὲ δαΐφρονος μάλα λυγρῆς πεύσεαι ἀγγελίης, μὴ ὤφελλε γενέσθαι. κεῖται Πάτροκλος, νέκυος δὲ δὴ ἀμφιμάχονται γυμνοῦ· ἀτὰρ τά γε τεύχεʼ ἔχει κορυθαίολος Ἕκτωρ.
