Sybil Ottenstein

Sybil Ottenstein is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Hakomi Therapist practicing in Brooklyn, New York, where she founded Brooklyn Psychedelic Therapy, a group practice dedicated to ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and psychedelic integration. She holds degrees from Northwestern University and Tufts University, and completed her clinical training at Fordham University. Ottenstein is certified in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy through the Psychedelic Research and Training Institute (PRATI), and brings advanced training in Hakomi Mindful Psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, and the Trauma Conscious Yoga Method. Her therapeutic approach is deeply somatic and relational, prioritizing the embodied experience and the therapeutic relationship as primary vehicles for healing. In addition to individual KAP sessions, she facilitates group ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and psychedelic integration therapy. Ottenstein draws on over fifteen years of personal engagement with psychedelic medicine, lending both clinical rigor and experiential depth to her practice. She works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and the aftereffects of challenging psychedelic experiences.
