Sophia Brandstetter

Sophia Brandstetter is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Doctor of Psychology who founded The Ko-Op, a psychedelic psychotherapy treatment center in Philadelphia dedicated to increasing access, safety, and understanding of psychedelic-assisted therapies. She received her doctorate from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and completed her Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy certificate through Fluence. Brandstetter specializes in complex and generational trauma, drawing on psychoanalytic, psychodynamic, and relational theoretical frameworks to guide her clinical work. The Ko-Op provides physician-supervised ketamine-assisted psychotherapy for individuals struggling with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, eating disorders, and suicidal ideation. Beyond direct client care, Brandstetter is deeply invested in training the next generation of psychedelic clinicians; she co-directs Ketamine Kollaborations, an education, training, practicum, and supervision program for therapists seeking to incorporate KAP into their practice. She also maintains a secondary practice location in North Caldwell, New Jersey, and offers telehealth services. Her approach emphasizes uncovering early-life experiences and relational patterns as the foundation for psychedelic-enhanced therapeutic transformation.
