Robin Kurland

Robin Kurland, MA, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist in Sacramento, California, with over eighteen years of clinical experience integrating somatic, expressive, and psychedelic-informed approaches to trauma treatment. She earned her master's degree in counseling psychology with an expressive arts focus from the California Institute of Integral Studies, a training lineage that informs her emphasis on embodied, creative, and relationally attuned therapeutic work. Ms. Kurland provides ketamine-assisted therapy in collaboration with Journey Clinical and offers comprehensive psychedelic integration services including pre- and post-ritual counseling for individuals working with a range of psychedelic medicines. Her clinical toolkit includes Internal Family Systems therapy, somatic experiencing, Hakomi, Brainspotting, trauma-informed yoga, shadow work, and expressive arts therapy. She has worked across nonprofit, hospital, and private practice settings, bringing particular depth to her specialization in complex trauma, CPTSD, sexual abuse recovery, process and substance addictions, grief, and eating disorders. Ms. Kurland serves as a board member and ethics advisor for the SHINE collective and maintains an active interest in the intersection of psychedelic healing and trauma-informed somatic practice.
