Rebecca Stone

Rebecca Stone is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Hakomi Therapist, and Certified Emotion-Focused Couples Therapist who founded Brooklyn Somatic Therapy, a group practice specializing in somatic and experiential psychotherapy for adults and couples. Licensed in both New York and Pennsylvania, she also directs Philly Somatic Therapy. Stone has trained and supervised therapists for nearly a decade, and serves as a teacher for the Hakomi Institute's comprehensive training program. Her clinical work integrates somatic psychotherapy, attachment-focused EMDR, Family Constellations, and Somatic Experiencing, with a particular emphasis on the body as a site of healing. She offers ketamine-assisted psychotherapy in collaboration with prescribing psychiatrist Dr. Daniel Zimmerman of Acheron Psychiatry, combining the neuroplasticity-enhancing properties of ketamine with deep somatic processing. Stone's approach to psychedelic medicine is informed by her engagement with plant medicine traditions rooted in the Shipibo lineage of the Peruvian Amazon, as well as her work in restorative justice.
