About
Nicholas Brüss is a licensed marriage and family therapist holding licensure in California, New York, Texas, and Colorado, and one of the foremost practitioners integrating Internal Family Systems with psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. A Level 3 IFS-certified therapist and IFSI-approved clinical consultant, Brüss has provided IFS therapy since 2013 and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy since 2017. He served as a therapist and clinical supervisor on the MAPS-sponsored FDA Phase III clinical trial of MDMA-assisted therapy for PTSD and works as a lead therapist and clinical researcher with Compass Pathways' investigation of psilocybin-assisted treatment for treatment-resistant depression. Brüss is a psilocybin-assisted therapy trainer for TheraPsil and co-founded the Psychedelic Coalition for Health. His training extends to Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Mindfulness Facilitation through UCLA's Mindful Awareness Research Center, and Compassion Cultivation teaching through Stanford's Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education.
