Michelle Ertl

Michelle Ertl, PsyD, CST, is a licensed psychologist, AASECT-certified sex therapist, and one of the first licensed natural medicine clinical facilitators in Colorado (NMCF license number 0000004). She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Indiana State University and her master's from Pepperdine University, with postdoctoral fellowship training in PTSD at the Salt Lake City VA Medical Center. Dr. Ertl additionally holds a Certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Research from the California Institute of Integral Studies. She is licensed as a psychologist in both Colorado (PSY.0006166) and Utah, and through PSYPACT is authorized to practice across all participating states. Through Collaborative Growth Therapy in the Denver metropolitan area, Dr. Ertl offers trauma-focused psychotherapy, sex therapy, and psilocybin-assisted therapy in partnership with licensed healing centers under Colorado's regulated Natural Medicine framework. Her clinical approach draws upon EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions, reflecting a commitment to empirically supported treatment modalities integrated with the therapeutic potential of psychedelic medicine.
