Kelley O'Donnell

Kelley O'Donnell, M.D., Ph.D., is a board-certified psychiatrist, psychoanalyst, and psychedelic clinician-researcher whose work bridges rigorous neuroscience, depth-oriented psychotherapy, and psychedelic medicine. She earned her B.A. in the Great Books program at St. John's College in Annapolis and her M.D. and Ph.D. in neuroscience through the Medical Scientist Training Program at UCLA, subsequently completing a psychiatry residency at NYU and a fellowship in psychoanalysis at Columbia University and the Psychoanalytic Association of New York. Dr. O'Donnell serves as Associate Professor of Psychiatry at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and Director of Clinical Training at the NYU Langone Center for Psychedelic Medicine, where she has been involved in psychedelic research since 2015. She holds therapeutic certifications in MDMA-assisted therapy from MAPS, ketamine therapy from the Ketamine Training Center, and psychedelic therapy from the Integrative Psychiatry Institute. She has authored over thirty peer-reviewed publications and received the NIMH Outstanding Resident Award and the ADAA Career Development Leadership Award. Dr. O'Donnell founded Mandorla Wellness, her private practice in Manhattan, where she offers conventional and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy alongside psychedelic integration services, bringing an uncommon synthesis of psychoanalytic depth and psychedelic therapeutic expertise to clinical care.
