Don Zuckerman

Don Zuckerman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker certified in Maryland, the District of Columbia, Missouri, and Virginia, with over thirty years of clinical experience in psychotherapy. He holds a Master of Social Work degree and has completed advanced training in EMDR, Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy through the Polaris Insight Center. His practice is now dedicated primarily to KAP, functioning as an adjunct or resource therapist for individuals who maintain an ongoing therapeutic relationship with another clinician. Zuckerman's KAP protocol encompasses comprehensive assessment, preparation sessions, in-office ketamine experiences, and follow-up integration work designed to optimize the therapeutic impact of each medicine session. Before entering the mental health field, he worked as a performer, massage therapist, breathing coach, and Alexander Technique instructor, bringing a multidimensional understanding of the body-mind relationship to his clinical work. He continues to explore complementary modalities including Qigong and sound healing, which inform his integrative approach to psychedelic-assisted therapy.
