About
Casey Paleos, M.D., is a board-certified psychiatrist, psychedelic therapist, and clinical researcher with over fifteen years of experience working with ketamine and other psychedelic medicines in both research and clinical settings. He completed his psychiatry residency at NYU/Bellevue Medical Center and was a co-principal investigator on the NYU-Bellevue Ketamine for Depression Study, positioning him among the earliest researchers to identify ketamine as a breakthrough treatment for depression. Dr. Paleos has served as a study therapist on the landmark NYU Psilocybin Cancer Anxiety Study and as a principal investigator in MAPS-sponsored Phase 3 clinical trials evaluating MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for PTSD. He is a core faculty member at Fluence, the leading continuing education organization in psychedelic therapy. In 2025, Dr. Paleos co-founded InnerMost, a psychedelic therapy treatment center in Gramercy, Manhattan, where he serves as Chief Medical Officer. His clinical practice integrates ketamine, Spravato, and depth-oriented psychotherapy for patients with treatment-resistant depression and anxiety. Dr. Paleos brings a rare combination of rigorous clinical research experience and sustained psychotherapeutic engagement to the emerging field of psychedelic medicine.
