About
Vincenzo Marsili is a psychologist and analytical psychoanalyst with didactic functions who practices in Lucca and Moncalieri (Turin), Italy. He is a Didactic Analyst and member of the International Association of Analytical Psychology and a founding member of ARPA, the Italian Association for Research in Analytical Psychology. He completed his didactic analysis with Professor Mario Moreno, a formative influence that shaped his approach to the analytic encounter.
Marsili's early clinical experience was gained in institutional settings, first as a psychologist in Child Neuropsychiatry Services and subsequently in the psychiatric Diagnosis and Care ward at Lucca Hospital. His theoretical orientation centers on the continuous intertwining of the adult and childhood worlds within analytical psychotherapy, with particular emphasis on the reconstruction of early damaged psychosomatic security and the reactivation of trust and psychic vitality through contact with deeper, more instinctive dimensions of the Self.
A prolific author, Marsili has published extensively on topics including psychotic time disturbances, bipolar disorders, obsessive symptomatology, maternal violence, eating disorders, and the role of dreams in psychoanalysis. His major works include Tempo e Anima (2010), Sottile come il domani (2014), Madri Assassine (2017), Uomini e sogni (2019), and La sorpresa e il cambiamento (2023). He conducts seminars, residential workshops, and webinars on themes of transformation and psychoanalytic process.
