About
Ursula Brasch is a Jungian psychoanalyst, sinologist, and I Ching scholar maintaining a private practice in Schopfheim, Germany, near the Swiss border. She trained at the C.G. Jung Institute in Zürich/Küsnacht and is a member of the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP) and the C.G. Jung Institute Zürich Alumni Association. She studied sinology, history, and political science at the universities of Freiburg and Tübingen, earning her M.A. in these disciplines. This dual formation in depth psychology and East Asian studies gives her work a distinctive interdisciplinary character. She serves as a training analyst and supervisor at C.G. Jung-related institutions and regularly offers lectures and seminars at the Jung Institutes in Zürich and Stuttgart. She is particularly known for her expertise in the I Ching (Book of Changes), teaching seminars that integrate this ancient Chinese divination text with contemporary analytical psychology. Her clinical practice encompasses psychotherapy, psychoanalysis according to C.G. Jung, and trauma-focused group work. Through her scholarly engagement with Chinese philosophy and Jungian thought, Brasch carries forward Jung's own deep interest in Eastern wisdom traditions as resources for psychological understanding.
