About
Tommaso Priviero is an analytical psychologist and psychoanalytic psychotherapist based in London. He is registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC), the Society of Analytical Psychology (SAP), and the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP). He holds a doctorate in the history of psychology from University College London, completed under the mentorship of Professor Sonu Shamdasani, and currently holds a Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship at Queen Mary University of London. Dr. Priviero is the author of 'Of Fire and Form: Jung, Dante, and the Making of the Red Book' (Routledge, 2023), which explores Jung's existential and psychological reading of Dante's Commedia as a model for inner transformation. His published research has appeared in The International Journal of Jungian Studies, The European Yearbook of the History of Psychology, The International Journal of Psychoanalysis and Education, and The Journal for the History of the Behavioural Sciences. He has worked extensively in both NHS and private settings, offering support for depression, anxiety, obsessive and compulsive patterns, relationship difficulties, life transitions, sexuality, loss, and addiction. He provides both short- and long-term analytical psychotherapy in English and Italian, in person in Islington (London N1) or online.
