About

Tinatin Tiabashvili is a certified Jungian analyst, psychotherapist, and associate professor of psychology based in Tbilisi, Georgia. She holds a doctorate in psychology from Ilia State University (2016) and serves as an associate professor at the University of Georgia, where she leads courses in personality psychology, psychological counseling, child psychotherapy methods, and group counseling. She is the president of the Georgian Association of Analytical Psychology (GAAP) and serves as president of the IAAP developing group for Georgia, playing a central role in establishing Jungian analytical psychology in the Caucasus region. Since 2007, she has taught psychology of creativity at Ilia State University. Her research centers on emotional intelligence development in adolescence and mythodrama group psychotherapy approaches for teenagers experiencing behavioral challenges. Her published work includes studies on mythodrama group therapy for resolving conflict and bullying in school settings, as well as evaluations of group interventions addressing emotional and behavioral problems in early adolescents. Through her dual engagement in clinical practice and academic research, Tiabashvili bridges depth psychological theory with applied developmental and educational psychology.
