About
Teodora Petrova is a Jungian psychoanalyst and individual member of the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP), practicing from her private psychoanalytic office in Sofia, Bulgaria. She received her psychoanalytic training at the C.G. Jung Institute of San Francisco and holds a master's degree in psychology from Sofia University 'St. Kliment Ohridski,' with a secondary specialization in cultural studies from the same institution. Her doctoral studies in clinical psychology were conducted at Pacifica Graduate Institute and the California Institute of Integral Studies, deepening her engagement with depth psychological traditions. She has additional training in Sand Play Therapy and Authentic Movement from the Authentic Movement Institute in Berkeley. With over twelve years of clinical experience, Petrova brings a multidisciplinary perspective that integrates Jungian analysis, clinical psychology, organizational psychology, creative therapies, dance therapy, and supervision for practicing psychotherapists. She is the founder and former chair of the Bulgarian C.G. Jung Society, through which she has contributed to establishing analytical psychology in her home country. Her international scholarly activities include serving as a visiting lecturer at the Autonomous University of Lisbon, Portugal, and holding a position on the editorial board of The San Francisco Jung Institute Library Journal.
