About
Stefano Maria Cavalitto is a psychologist, psychotherapist, and Jungian analyst practicing in Turin, Italy. He is an Ordinary Analyst (Analista Ordinario) of ARPA (Associazione per la Ricerca in Psicologia Analitica), an IAAP-member institute dedicated to the research and training of analysts in the Jungian tradition. He serves as President of GAJAP (Gruppo Analitico Junghiano di Analisi e Psicoterapia) and is a member of APRAGIP, the Italian association for research and training in individual, group, and institutional psychotherapy and analytical psychodrama.
Cavalitto holds faculty positions at the University of Turin, where he collaborates with the School of Medicine in the Department of Public Health and Pediatric Sciences and teaches in the Specialization School in Clinical Psychology within the Department of Psychology. He also serves on the faculty of the COIRAG School of Psychotherapy in Turin, where he teaches Analytical Psychodrama (Psicodramma Analitico). Additionally, he works at the Centro Medico Psicologico Torinese.
His clinical practice integrates group analytic approaches with neuroscience-informed tools including neurofeedback, biofeedback, mindfulness, EMDR, Flash Technique, and Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR). He is co-editor of the journal Anamorphosis — Gruppi, Psicologia Analitica e Psicodramma, which bridges group dynamics, analytical psychology, and psychodrama. His published work includes "Un processo trasformativo tra individuale e collettivo: i colori della depressione" in L'Ombra (Moretti e Vitali, 2022).
