Sofía Jiménez

Sofía Jiménez is a Jungian analyst certified by the International Association for Analytical Psychology, having received her IAAP certification in Copenhagen in 2013 with a thesis on dream interpretation in psychotherapy. She holds specializations in social policy from the Universidad Javeriana and human resources management from the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá. Her professional trajectory bridges organizational leadership and depth psychology: she served as director of the Group for Development of Colombia from 2005 to 2012, coordinating training programs through analyst visits, and in 2005 founded the Asociación de Psicología Analítica en Colombia, which was reconstituted in 2020 as Amigos de la Psicología Analítica (ADEPAC), a group dedicated to promoting Jungian thought in the Colombian context. She is a founding member of the Sociedad Colombiana de Analistas Junguianos, the IAAP-recognized group member society in Colombia. As a faculty member at the Universidad Javeriana, she has offered diploma programs on the work of Carl Gustav Jung, personal development through Jungian psychology, and expressive techniques within the analytical framework.
