Silvio Lopes Peres

Silvio Lopes Peres is a clinical psychologist and Jungian analyst affiliated with the Instituto de Psicologia Analítica de Campinas, the Associação Junguiana do Brasil, and the International Association for Analytical Psychology. He holds a master's degree in Sciences of Religion from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, with additional training in pedagogy from the Universidade de Marília and theology from the Seminário Presbiteriano do Sul. His analytical formation was completed through a 2,300-hour training program at the Instituto Junguiano de São Paulo. Peres maintains a private clinical psychology practice in Marília, São Paulo, grounded in the tradition of analytical psychology. His scholarly interests span the intersection of Jungian thought, religion, and occupational health, and he has published on topics including death in Jung's work, the religious influences on Jung's intellectual development, and burnout examined through the lens of analytical theory. He serves as a coordinator of the Creative Aging Department at the Instituto de Psicologia Analítica da Bahia and contributes to the curatorship of the Observatório da Psicologia Analítica, reflecting his engagement with the broader Jungian community in Brazil.
