About
Sarah Hall is an HCPC-registered psychoanalytic art psychotherapist and Jungian analyst accredited by the International Association for Analytical Psychology. She trained with the Association of Jungian Analysts in London and maintains a private practice through Phoenix Psychotherapy in Menheniot, Cornwall. Hall brings a distinctive integration of professional artistic practice and depth-psychological training, having formerly served as an academic lecturer at the Glasgow School of Art. Her clinical approach draws upon symbol, metaphor, and imagery to facilitate exploration of psychological experience, reflecting her dual grounding in the visual arts and analytical psychology. She has worked extensively across NHS settings, residential rehabilitation facilities, and private practice with individuals, families, and groups. Hall currently serves part-time as a supervisor and clinical lead in dual diagnosis at Chy rehabilitation centre in Truro and holds a visiting lectureship on the MA Art Psychotherapy training at IATE in London. Her ongoing research investigates a Jungian interpretation of drug dreams in patients recovering from addiction and their implications for clinical practice. She also chairs training at the Association of Jungian Analysts and convened the Jung by the Sea International Conference in Cornwall in 2023, marking the centenary of Jung's seminars in the region.
