About
Rose F. Holt is a Jungian Analyst based in St. Louis, MO, who made a significant career change after spending more than 20 years in physics research, business planning, and marketing before discovering Jungian psychology at mid-life. She served 12 years as an advisory analyst to the C.G. Jung Society of St. Louis and is currently writing a book on dream efficacy in group therapy.
In her own words, Rose reflects deeply on the inner life and the forces that have shaped her journey. She describes four fires that have guided her: the fire of vision, which has persisted through periods of neglect and inattention; the fire of the heart, with its capacity for deep affection and its vulnerability to burnout and misdirection; the creative fire, patient and accumulative, building an inner studio of imagery and experience over decades; and the fire of the soul, whose agenda long conflicted with her own before she came to recognize their fundamental unity.
Through this reflective framework, Rose articulates a philosophy of self-tending and renewal — long walks, engrossing conversations, rewarding work, willingness to risk, adequate rest, and good nutrition — as the practices that sustain her and keep these four fires alive. Her work as a Jungian analyst is deeply informed by this personal journey of individuation, mid-life transformation, and the integration of psyche and soul.
