About
Pierre Willequet is a doctor of psychology and Jungian psychoanalyst based in Chaumont, Haute-Savoie, France, near the Swiss border. Born in Brussels, he completed his doctoral studies at the universities of Lyon and Geneva and received his diploma as a psychoanalyst from the C.G. Jung Institute in Zurich. He began his first analysis at the age of nineteen with a close disciple of Jung, establishing an early and intimate connection with the founding tradition of analytical psychology.
Willequet's clinical work centers on the interpretation and exploration of dreams, which he regards as the primary pathway to the unconscious. He practices individual analysis and therapy with adults and adolescents, attending to the contents of the unconscious as they manifest through dreams, visions, daydreams, fantasies, and intuitions. His therapeutic approach is informed by a sustained engagement with the spiritual dimensions of psychological life, reflecting the influence of Karlfried Graf Dürckheim, with whom he has been associated since 1977 and in whose honor he participated in the creation of the Dürckheim Center.
Beyond his clinical practice, Willequet is a prolific author who has published numerous books and articles on Jungian themes including dreams, mother-daughter relationships, betrayal, sexuality, and spirituality. He teaches within the Romande Branch of the C.G. Jung Institute and was the first teacher to introduce Kinomichi in Switzerland. He is available for sessions Monday through Friday at his Chaumont office.
