Patricia Neufeld
Depth-OrientedLMFT
Sacramento, CA, United States
About
Patricia Neufeld is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Jungian-oriented psychotherapist practicing in midtown Sacramento, California. With over twenty years in private practice, she brings an unusual professional duality: before entering the mental health field, she worked as a Registered Nurse. She earned her MFT degree from Fresno State University in 1993 and has since built a practice grounded in the integration of Jungian depth psychology with somatic and body-based approaches.
Neufeld is currently pursuing post-licensure accreditation as a Jungian Analyst at the C.G. Jung Institute of San Francisco. Her advanced training includes coursework under Jungian analyst Donald Kalsched on trauma and the soul, and a year-long intensive at the San Francisco Jung Institute. She has also trained in Somatic Experiencing and in BodyDreaming with Irish Jungian analyst Marian Dunlea.
For Sacramento residents seeking depth-oriented therapy with a Jungian frame, Neufeld represents one of the few practitioners in the region with serious analytic training underway.
