About
Olena Brante is a Ukrainian-born psychologist and Jungian analyst practicing in Waterford, Ireland, where she has maintained a private practice since 2012. She holds a Master of Arts in Psychology and is an individual member of the International Association for Analytical Psychology. With over fifteen years of experience in the field of mental health, Brante works with adults both in person and online, grounding her clinical approach in the Jungian tradition of depth work with the unconscious. She draws extensively on dreams, drawings, myths, and images as therapeutic instruments for engaging the symbolic dimensions of psychic life. Her areas of clinical focus encompass depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, codependent behavior, PTSD, self-esteem, immigration and involuntary displacement, LGBTQ+ concerns, and difficulties with emotional expression and regulation. Colleagues and clients recognize Brante for her professional intuition and her capacity to identify non-obvious psychological connections. She has published in the scholarly literature, including an article titled 'Authoritarianism and the Female Psyche' in Psychological Perspectives (2024). She is also a facilitator of the Dream Matrix method and speaks Russian, Ukrainian, and English.
