About
Noreen D. Cannon Au, PhD, is a Certified Jungian Analyst with a private practice for over 35 years. She holds a PhD from USC and an MA from CSUN. She is an Adjunct Professor of Theological Studies at Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, and a Faculty Member of the CG Jung Institute of Los Angeles. She is an author and international lecturer on the integration of Christian Spirituality and Depth Psychology. She received the Writer's Award in Spirituality by the Loyola Institute for Spirituality in 2012. She has co-authored four books with her husband Wilkie Au, PhD: 'Urgings of the Heart: A Spirituality of Integration,' 'The Grateful Heart: Living the Christian Message,' 'God's Unconditional Love: Healing Our Shame,' and 'The Discerning Heart: Exploring the Christian Path' (named best book on Pastoral Ministry by the Catholic Press Association in 2007). Their books have been translated into Spanish, Polish, Chinese, and Korean. She has published journal articles on shadow work, envy, holiness/wholeness, and perfectionism. Former member of Sisters of St Joseph of Carondelet (1963-1995).
