About
Natalia Serebrennikova is a Jungian analyst and accredited psychotherapist based in Vienna with over 15 years of professional experience. She maintains a private practice combining Jungian/analytical psychodynamic psychotherapy with elements of art therapy and sandplay. She works individually with adults, offering both psychotherapy and analysis, as well as supervision for professionals seeking to support their own development.
In her practice, she understands Jungian analysis as a method of personal development — including the development of creativity, self-regulation, the capacity to form meaning, understand personal mythology, and extract resources from complexes. For clients whose emotional, cognitive, behavioral, or somatic difficulties affect multiple areas of life, she conducts analytical psychotherapy using art therapy, sandplay, and other techniques. She has particular expertise in trauma therapy, including early trauma, trauma from violence, and dissociative states, approaching each case with a unique combination of methods and therapeutic relationship.
She has been working as a psychological consultant in private practice since 2005, as a psychology teacher since 2005, as a translator and editor of books on psychology and psychoanalysis since 2009, and as a Jungian analyst in private practice since 2013. She has authored and co-authored numerous articles published in the journal 'Jungian Analysis,' including works on art therapy techniques, trauma, and cultural themes. She has also translated and edited a wide range of works on analytical psychology and psychoanalysis, including texts by Jung and works by Shamdasani and others.
