About
Mostafa Kazemian is a certified Jungian psychoanalyst and IAAP member who trained at the C.G. Jung Institute Zürich (CGJIZ), where he completed his diploma in psychoanalysis between 2016 and 2021. He holds a medical degree from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in Iran (1997), a German Medical Approbation (2013), and a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Anthropology from Albert Ludwigs University Freiburg (2018–2021). After several years of clinical practice as a physician in Iran, Kazemian relocated to Europe in 2006, studying and practicing in Switzerland, Austria, and Germany. He brings more than twelve years of clinical experience in psychotherapy and psychiatry to his current private practice in Berlin, where he sees clients both in person and online. His scholarly interests lie at the intersection of individuation and culture, with particular attention to the sociocultural dimensions of the unconscious. He presented research on the social aspects of analytical psychology and the individuation concept at the C.G. Jung Institute in 2022. Kazemian works in English, German, and Persian (Farsi), offering a multicultural therapeutic lens informed by his own experience of migration and cross-cultural identity.
