Mimi Potworowska

Mimi Potworowska is a senior Jungian analyst and art psychotherapist based in South East London, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT), and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She is a member of the Independent Group of Analytical Psychologists (IGAP), an IAAP-accredited training organization. Potworowska established her private practice in 2008, drawing on a theoretical foundation informed by the developmental object relations schools of Winnicott, Bion, and Klein from her original art psychotherapy training, integrated with the analytical psychology of C.G. Jung. Before entering private practice, she held the position of Senior Art Therapist at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, working in oncology and palliative care settings. She also established psychotherapy departments in Pupil Referral Units for Southwark Children's Services and worked extensively in NHS mental health services. Her clinical approach addresses acute conditions, trauma, and states of crisis through both regressive and prospective analytic methods. She currently serves as a training therapist and clinical supervisor. She is not currently accepting new clients.
