About
PhDr. Michaela Hapalová is a clinical psychologist, Jungian analyst, and training and supervising analyst of the International Association for Analytical Psychology, practicing in Prague, Czech Republic. She completed her rigorous examination in psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy at Charles University and holds memberships in the Association of Clinical Psychologists, the Czech Institute of Jungian Psychology, the Czech Society for Analytical Psychology, and the Institute of Biosynthesis. She serves as President of the Council of the Rafael Institute, where she works as an individual and group training therapist, supervisor, and psychotherapist with children, families, and adults. Her clinical and scholarly work centers on collective and cultural trauma, Jewish identity and tradition, the psychology of ancestors, and intergenerational transmission of traumatic experience. She co-founded and led for three years a generational discussion group called 'Generation After' for individuals with Jewish heritage, exploring themes of transgenerational trauma from a Jungian perspective. She has published on transgenerational trauma transmission within the framework of analytical psychology and has organized expert conferences in Prague, Brno, and Bratislava.
