Max Black

Max Black is an accredited Jungian analyst and psychological astrologer based in Berlin, Germany. He completed seven years of post-graduate training in the Psychoanalyst Training Program for both Adults and Children at the C.G. Jung Institut in Zurich, receiving his certification in 2024. He has maintained a private practice since 2020, offering professional psychological services to individuals, couples, families, and children. Black holds an MFA in Graphic Design and Advertising from the School of Visual Arts in New York, a BA in Art History from Boston University, and a certification in Portfolio Management from New York University. He also earned an Advanced Diploma in Psychological Astrology from the Mercury Internet School of Psychological Astrology (MISPA) in London and holds certification as an Advisor for Jungian Typology from the Gifts Compass Typology Center in Ohio. His clinical experience includes positions at the Center for Family Counseling in Berlin and the Center for Integrated Psychiatry in Kiel, Germany. Black teaches and lectures on dreams, Jung's typology, and psychological astrology at institutions including the C.G. Jung Institut Zurich, MISPA London, and Soho House Berlin. He works both in person in Berlin and online worldwide.
