About
Marlies van Boxtel is a clinical psychologist, Jungian analyst, and psychotherapist with an international practice spanning the Netherlands and Spain. She began her clinical work in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1988, and subsequently trained as a Jungian analyst across three continents, completing programs in Santa Fe, Zürich, and the Netherlands before receiving her IAAP certification as a Jungian analyst in 2007. She holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and is registered as a psychologist, psychotherapist, couples and family (systems) therapist, and sexologist.
Van Boxtel is a member of both the Nederlandse Associatie voor Analytische Psychologie (NAAP) and the Association of Graduates in Analytical Psychology (AGAP), two of the principal professional societies for Jungian analysts in the Netherlands and internationally. She is also a member of the Psychoanalytisch Genootschap C.G. Jung in Den Haag. Her clinical interests include psychedelic-assisted couples work, reflecting her willingness to integrate emerging therapeutic modalities with the classical Jungian tradition.
Based in The Hague at her practice on Wassenaarsenweg, van Boxtel has presented on Jungian topics including the individuation process and its symbols.
