Mark Troedson

Mark Troedson is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Diplomate Jungian Analyst with a private practice in Encino, California. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, where his research explored depth psychological themes at the intersection of imagery and the clinical encounter. He is certified as a Jungian Analyst through the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles, where he also teaches courses for the Analyst Training Program.

Troedson began his teaching career in the mid-1980s at UC Irvine and other Orange County colleges, focusing on philosophy and humanities during a period when the academy was reconsidering its mission through a multicultural humanistic lens. He has since held clinical faculty positions at Antioch University Los Angeles and served as a visiting faculty member at Pacifica Graduate Institute from 2022 to 2024. He has been an Editorial Board Member for Psychological Perspectives: A Quarterly Journal of Jungian Thought since 2015, contributing to the scholarly conversation in analytical psychology.

His clinical work spans child, adolescent, group, and family psychotherapy, drawing on a deep engagement with depth psychology, multicultural perspectives, and the phenomenology of imagery. He has practiced as a licensed therapist since 2001 and brings over two decades of combined clinical and academic experience to his analytical work.
