About

Maria Lomova-Stamarskaya is a Jungian analyst, certified psychotherapist, and training analyst-supervisor based in Moscow, Russia. She holds the academic degree of Candidate of Psychological Sciences, having defended a dissertation on self-consciousness in 2002. She has been an individual member of the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP) since 2010 and is affiliated with the Moscow Association for Analytical Psychology (MAAP). With over twenty-seven years of clinical experience — fourteen of them as a certified Jungian analyst — Lomova-Stamarskaya works with adults aged 25 to 60, specializing in individual and couples analysis, developmental and relational trauma, dream work, and sandplay therapy. Her training encompasses multiple modalities: she studied at the Moscow Jung Institute (1998–2000), the International Somatic Institute in San Francisco (1999–2004), and the Biodynamic Institute in Denmark (2005–2012), giving her clinical work a distinctive integration of analytical psychology and body-oriented psychotherapy. She presented Three Reference Points of the Russian Soul in Jungian Interpretation at the XXIII International Congress of the IAAP in Copenhagen in 2013. She is the author of more than fifty publications on psychology, psychotherapy, and analytical psychology. Lomova-Stamarskaya offers both in-person sessions near Pervomayskaya metro station in Moscow and online analysis.
