Manca Svara

Manca Svara is a psychotherapist, Jungian analyst, and coach based in Koper, Slovenia. She is the founder of the Epiona Institute (Zavod Epiona), a center for Jungian psychotherapy and lifelong learning through symbols and art. Svara completed her studies in Jungian analysis and psychotherapy through the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP) in September 2024 and became a teaching analyst at the Sigmund Freud University in Ljubljana in October 2024. Since March 2024, she has served on the Executive Board of the Slovenian Association for Analytical Psychology (SZAP), where she promotes the ideas of C.G. Jung in Slovenia and the broader region. Her research interests center on the collective unconscious in relation to trauma, identity, border history, and forced migrations, drawing on the complex cultural heritage of the Slovenian-Italian borderlands. Her therapeutic approach incorporates Jungian psychotherapy, transpersonal psychotherapy, and therapeutic work with art, supporting clients in deep self-understanding and personal transformation. Svara also works as a coach and has developed programming through the Epiona Institute that bridges analytical psychology with creative and symbolic modalities.
