Małgorzata Kalinowska

Małgorzata Kalinowska is a clinical psychologist, Jungian analyst, and supervisor with over thirty years of experience in psychotherapy and psychological assessment. She has maintained a private therapeutic practice since 1999, working with adults in both individual and group formats from her offices in Czeladź and Katowice in the Silesian region of Poland. She received her certification as a Jungian psychoanalyst at the 2013 IAAP Congress in Copenhagen, marking the culmination of years of intensive training in analytical psychology.

Kalinowska completed IAAP supervisory training in 2016 in Prague and is now authorized to conduct supervision of analysts in training. She is a founding member of the Polskie Towarzystwo Psychoanalizy Jungowskiej (PTPJ), the Polish Society for Jungian Psychoanalysis, reflecting her pioneering role in establishing Jungian analytic training infrastructure in Poland. She is also a member of the Association of Jungian Analysts affiliated with the IAAP.

Beyond her clinical practice, Kalinowska has made significant contributions to the dissemination of Jungian thought in Poland through her work as a translator and editor. Together with Tomasz J. Jasiński and Jacek Kobiński, she founded the Instytut Studiów Kulturowych Raven (Raven Cultural Studies Institute), where she serves as editor-in-chief, translator, and scientific editor. Her intellectual interests extend to cultural trauma, contemporary cultural phenomena, and the dynamics of psychoanalytic training. She has translated books and articles on Jungian psychology into Polish, playing an essential role in making the Jungian corpus accessible to Polish-speaking clinicians and scholars.
