Luca Biasci

Luca Biasci, M.D., is a psychiatrist and Jungian psychoanalyst based in Pisa, Italy, whose clinical and scholarly work integrates analytical psychology with holistic and integrative medical approaches. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pisa in 1992, graduating with highest honors, and completed his specialization in Psychiatry at the same institution in 1996. His analytic training was conducted through the Associazione Italiana per lo Studio della Psicologia Analitica from 1990 to 2001, and he has subsequently held membership in the Associazione per la Ricerca in Psicologia Analitica and the Centro Italiano di Psicologia Analitica, the latter affiliated with the International Association of Analytical Psychology. Dr. Biasci maintains both a public practice within the USL Toscana Nord Ovest healthcare system and a private psychoanalytic practice. His professional interests extend beyond classical Jungian analysis to encompass homeopathic psychiatry, traditional Chinese medicine, and Ayurvedic medicine, reflecting a commitment to integrative approaches to mental health. He has contributed scholarly articles to Italian Jungian publications including Jung Italia, writing on topics such as psychology and religion and Jung's Answer to Job. He has also served in organizational roles within the Italian analytical community, including as president of scientific committees for national residential seminars in analytical psychology.
