About
Lorenzo Zipparri is a psychiatrist and Jungian analyst who serves as President and National Director of Training of the Centro Italiano di Psicologia Analitica (CIPA), an IAAP-accredited member society. He is authorized to conduct training analyses, supervisions, and didactic instruction within the CIPA framework. Zipparri has worked extensively as a psychiatrist in public psychiatric services, where he developed a sustained theoretical interest in the application of analytical psychology within institutional psychiatric settings. His clinical specializations include work with adults, adolescents, and parents, with particular attention to adolescent disorders, clinical theory, and analytical training. He is the author and editor of several scholarly publications, including the Italian translation and preface of The Wounded Healer (2001), and co-authored volumes on analytical method, therapy, and training (2003) as well as adolescence, tradition, and transgression (2011). His leadership of CIPA reflects a deep commitment to the institutional and pedagogical dimensions of Jungian training in Italy, where he has shaped contemporary standards for the formation of analytical psychologists.
